Bird-watching program at Pinckney Island Wildlife Refuge announced

The Coastal Discovery Museum has announced a bird-watching program at 7:30 a.m. March 5 at Pinckney Island Wildlife Refuge.

The program will be led by the museum's experienced bird-watchers.

Several species of shore and wading birds may be seen on the walk, according to a news release.

Reservations are required and tickets are $12 per person.

Participants are asked to bring their own binoculars.
