The Beaufortettes

"The Hen Party," featuring comedians Karen Mills, Mia Jackson and Sheri Taylor will present an evening focused on the humor in everyday life for women: low rise jeans, teenage children, memory loss, new-fangled technology and more.

Plus, tap-dancing divas, The Beaufortettes, will open the show. The Beaufortettes are an 11-member dance team of "ladies of a certain age" -- they range in age from 65 to 80 and have been dancing together since 2006.

"The Hen Party" is at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 30 at the University of South Carolina Beaufort Center for the Arts, 805 Carteret St., Beaufort. Tickets are $22 for adults, $20 for seniors and $15 for students. To purchase tickets: or 843-521-4145
