AmeriCorps volunteers to hold food, clothing drive for Bluffton Self Help on Jan. 24

Local AmeriCorps members will observe the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service with a canned food and clothing drive from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 24 at Bluffton Self Help, 39 Sheridan Park Circle.

More than 30 AmeriCorps members who serve as volunteer tutors in a United Way of the Lowcountry reading program will be on site to collect and organize the donations. Details: Deborah Edmondson, 843-837-2000 or dedmondson@uwlowcountry.org
