Construction workers use a motor grader to level the road before adding rock Jan. 16, 2014, during construction of the Island West connector in Bluffton. Lang Construction, the project’s contractor, is building a road behind Stokes Brown Toyota that will give residents of the Island West development a safe route to their homes following the widening of US 278 and the closure of medians.
