92nd Street Y series continues at Congregation Beth Yam

Congregation Beth Yam will again broadcast the 92nd Street Y series, which is a series of education and cultural programming. This seasons talks include: "Your Life Calling" with TV anchors Jane Pauley and Tom Brokaw on baby boomers who are finding their true calling at 8:15 p.m. Jan. 14; "Success in America" featuring Amy Chua and Jed Rubenfeld on the traits that explain the rise and fall of cultural groups in America at 8:15 p.m. Feb. 4; "The United States, Iran and Israel: What Next?" with Michael Doran and Warren Kozak at 8:15 p.m. Feb. 11; "The Story of the Jews" with Simon Schama at 8 p.m. March 24; and a chat with Ellie Wiesel at 8 p.m. May 22.

Tickets are $10 for Beth Yam members and $15 for non-members; a discount is offered for tickets to all five broadcasts. A 10 percent discount is offered for ticket holders the night of the broadcasts at Frankie Bones, Wise Guys, Boathouse, Main St. Cafe, Mangiamo's, Rielly's (north end), Ruan Thai Hut and OKKOs.
