Sunday's crime reports (Jan. 12, 2014)

The following reports were released Friday and Saturday by the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office:

BEAUFORT

THEFT

  • Hickory Street: $100 cash stolen. Handle torn off handbag. Damage: $250.

  • Boundary Street: Spare tire and rim worth a total of $550 stolen.

  • BURTON

    THEFT

  • Shell Point Road, Shell Point: $2,200 cash stolen. Door broken. Damage: $200.

  • Colleton Drive: Red, 22-inch Murray push lawn mower, Sprint DR trimmer mower worth a total of $800 stolen.

  • Big Road: Bathtub, light fixtures, door trim worth a total of $1,700 stolen. Door frame broken, kitchen sink, countertop ripped out. Damage: $1,200.

  • HILTON HEAD ISLAND

    PROPERTY DAMAGE

  • Ibis Street: Window frame broken. Damage: $1,500.

  • LADY'S ISLAND

    THEFT

  • Thomas Sumter Street: PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, jar of coins worth a total of $740, two gold rings with diamonds stolen.

  • Thomas Sumter Street: Green, military-issue pistol belt with holster, 160 GB iPod, FM transmitter worth a total of $295 stolen.
