Man charged in 2 Burton robberies

A Seabrook man was charged Friday with the armed robberies of two Burton businesses, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff's Office news release.

Marvin Ellis Frazier, 46, was arrested at his home after several witnesses identified him as the suspect in the Jan. 2 armed robbery of China Wok, the release said. Deputies also charged Frazier with the Jan. 5 armed robbery of Sunhouse Petroleum.

Frazier was charged with two counts each of armed robbery, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and felon in possession of a handgun; and one count each of kidnapping and pointing and presenting a firearm at a person, the release said.
