Coastal Discovery Museum to hold classes on throwing cast nets

The Coastal Discovery Museum will hold classes on throwing a cast net at 3 p.m. every Tuesday from Jan. 7 through Feb. 25 at the museum, 70 Honey Horn Drive.

The hands-on program will be led by local angler Scott Moody who grew up salt water fishing and diving. Beginners are welcome. You may bring your own net or use a loaner. The course is for ages 12 and up; cost is $10 per person. Reservations are required. To attend: 843-689-6767, ext. 223
