Road work to close Leamington entrance

info@islandpacket.comDecember 31, 2013

The entrance to Leamington on Hilton Head Island at Queens Way will close from 8 a.m. to noon Thursday.

Instead of using that entrance, drivers will need to use Ocean Lane and Queens Folly Road to enter and exit the gated community, according to the Town of Hilton Head Island.

The entrance will close so crews can remove trees to clear the way for construction of a new intersection and traffic signal at Queens Way.

Details: Darrin Shoemaker, town traffic and transportation engineer, at 843-341-4774 or DarrinS@hiltonheadislandsc.gov.
