Joann's teeth were bothering her. She did not have dental insurance and couldn't afford to go to the dentist.

Her employer suggested she go to Bluffton Self Help, which paid for the needed surgery that prevented an infection from spreading to her jawbone. She has recovered from the surgery and is undergoing further evaluation to discover the cause of the rapid dental deterioration.
