Comment: Davis struggled in the early going but righted the ship in time for a successful first season as a starter.

Comment: Followed footsteps of his brother, former Beaufort High running back Jesse Owens.

RB: Khalil Lewis, Hilton Head High, Sr.

1,379 rush yds, 9.4 avg., 20 TDs

Comment: Nagging injuries late in the season kept him from breaking his own single-season rushing record, but the senior still managed to carry the Seahawks' offense during a 7-0 start.

WR: Aaron Frazier, Hilton Head High, Jr.

44 rec., 859 yds., 19.3 avg., 5 TDs

Comment: Frazier's success on deep balls and tunnel screens helped him break the school record for receiving yards in a single season.

WR: Gavin Bush, Ridgeland-Hardeeville, Jr.

Comment: The all-time leading receiver for the two-year-old program caught more passes (44) than the team completed last season (28).

OL: Josh Darrell, Bluffton, Sr.

Comment: The three-year starter earned the Bobcats' offensive line MVP award and was an all Region 8-AAAA selection.

Comment: Maddox paved the way for RB Khalil Lewis' big year in the backfield while earning the team's lineman of the year award.

Comment: State wrestling champion graded at 88 percent average and was Region 5-A lineman of the year.

Comment: Three-year starter at guard also played on defense when called.

Comment: Sought-after defensive end didn't match his sophomore numbers, but still managed to become a force on the Bluffton line.

Comment: All-American led the Seahawks defense with another eye-popping year statistically. He also rushed for three touchdowns in Hilton Head High's 33-32 upset of rival Bluffton.

Comment: North-South and all-region selection showed his versatility by also playing well at right offensive tackle.

Comment: All-region selection with sideline-to-sideline capability who coaches thought might have deserved more statewide recognition.

Comment: Pick-6 highlighted season for Region 5-A Defensive Back of the Year.

Comment: All-region selection a threat at receiver and in the return game.

Comment: Robinson bloomed as a senior, matching the Jaguars' team total for interceptions last season.

Comment: 6-2, 165-pound junior took over for Stephen Baggett and excelled.

Comment: Middleton's impact was felt all over the field, as he received significant playing time in all three phases of the game, including recording three interceptions in just four games while starting at corner.
