Bluffton golfer Bryson Nimmer finishes near top at SCGA's 20th Ford Picard Christmas Classic

Lexington's Zachary Herold edged Bryson Nimmer of Bluffton on the second playoff hole Sunday to win the overall boys championship at the South Carolina Junior Golf Association's 20th Ford Picard Christmas Classic.

Nimmer and Herold each finished the junior event at The Links Course of Wild Dunes at 3-over-par 75.

Jaelyn Tindal of Rock Hill won the girls crown with a 73.

Jacqueline Twitty and her dad, Jeff, teamed to win Saturday's Parent-Child tournament. Bryson Nimmer and Tony Nimmer finished second, four strokes back.
