Deep Well

Carl is 78 and suffers from the effects of a stroke, along with cancer and cataracts.

His illnesses left him with big medical bills, even after Medicare paid its part. He signed up for a supplemental health insurance policy, which costs $313 a month. He receives $838 a month from Social Security.

The Deep Well Project paid an electric bill, which helped Carl pay his outstanding medical bills.

Deep Well provides a broad range of social services for poor working families, the disabled, the sick and the elderly.
