Bluffton firefighters to hold truck ceremony

info@islandpacket.comDecember 16, 2013

The Bluffton Township Fire District has a new aerial truck and will hold a public "wet-down ceremony" Tuesday to add it to its fleet.

The ceremony will begin at 2:30 p.m. at the division's headquarters at 357 Fording Island Road in Bluffton.

A wet-down ceremony is a firefighter tradition, in which the new truck is hosed down.
