Waste not, want not: Bluffton Self Help turns pizzaria error into dinner

info@islandpacket.comDecember 16, 2013

Joe is 4 and after watching a pizza commercial on television, he really wanted one for dinner.

But his parents didn't have the money.

Bluffton Self Help accepts pizzas from a local restaurant that are made in error or not picked up when ordered. The pizzas are wrapped, frozen and offered to people during food distributions at Bluffton Self Help. So Joe got a pizza.

Bluffton Self Help provides a broad range of social services for poor working families, the disabled, sick and elderly.
