November sales of existing houses and condos in Beaufort County dipped below November 2012 figures, but the market is still enjoying a better year overall, according to S.C. Realtors data.

The Hilton Head Island area experienced an 11.7 percent decrease in sales, from 301 to 271 homes, and the Beaufort area's sales declined 1.11 percent, from 87 to 86 homes sold.

The county's year-to-date numbers, however, remain higher than last year.
