Three Beaufort County teachers have earned national certification.

The teachers are Erin Berglind, of Red Cedar Elementary School in Bluffton; Lisa Casterline, of Michael C. Riley Elementary School in Bluffton; and Jamie Reichelt of Hilton Head Island High School.

The Beaufort County School District now has 145 National Board certified teachers, about 9 percent of its teaching force, according to a news release.

"You have to tip your hat to teachers who succeed in completing such a demanding and rigorous process," said superintendent Jeffrey Moss in the release.
