Time to preserve Bluffton's charm

info@islandpacket.comDecember 9, 2013

A primary goal of the Bluffton Master Plan should be preservation of what is left of the town's bucolic charm.

The Promenade is OK, certainly not a 10. And the balance of our plan seems to be disparate at best.

We have a half-empty canvas where we should enable the perfect vision to materialize and resist random, incongruous development

Many towns have created Mayberry-looking areas with sidewalks, white picket fences, general stores etc.

Town planners might want to apply the brakes, and experience some of the newest, Disney-created neighborhoods in Florida. I am pleased to help advance the best solution possible.
