The Coastal Discovery Museum will host an owl program from 10 to 11 a.m. Dec. 27.

Participants can discover what makes owls the "ultimate nocturnal predator" and explore their "incredible adaptations," according to the museum. Nancy Owen will present this program, along with four of her feathered friends.

Reservations are required by calling 843-689-6767, extension 223. The cost is $12 for adults and $7 for children, ages 4 to 12 only. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

The museum is at 70 Honey Horn Drive.
