Fracking articles left out important information

info@islandpacket.comDecember 7, 2013

I am writing in response to the four-part series on hydraulic fracking.

There was hardly a mention of the environmental damages caused by fracking. Chemicals are leaking into groundwater, and some companies refuse to even say what chemicals they use.

Due to the large amount of water used, natural aquifers become depleted and can even run dry as a result of fracking. Fracking can even cause earthquakes and other seismic events.

In a world growing ever hotter and polluted, we can't ignore the environmental damages caused by fracking.
