Deep Well

Beatrice is 49 and works as a housekeeper for a local motel.

Last winter she was out of work with the flu for six days and did not have paid sick leave.

She needed an expensive flu prescription, which The Deep Well Project approved at a local pharmacy. She then was unable to pay her rent, and Deep Well helped her make the payment.

Deep Well provides a broad range of social services for poor working families, the disabled, the sick and the elderly.
