YMCA to host Christmas workshop, New Year's Eve lock-in

The Wardle Family YMCA is hosting two holiday events for kids. Its annual "Little Elves Workshop" for children 3 months and older will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 7. The workshop includes swimming in the North Pool, two take-home Christmas crafts, holiday singing and gym games. Children are asked to bring swim gear. Lunch is provided for ages 3 and up. The cost is $15 per child, $10 for siblings.

A"“Rockin' Lock-in" for children ages 7 to 13 will be held from 5 p.m. Dec. 31 to 8 a.m. Jan. 1. The lock-in will have Wii games, karaoke, a talent show, sports tournaments, a midnight bash, swim time, snacks and food. Children must bring swim gear, a sleeping bag and a pillow.
