Beaufort man accused of attempted murder

A Beaufort man was charged with attempted murder Saturday.

Matthew Nicholas Guldner, 21, was arrested by the Beaufort Police Department and charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, according to the jail log.

Guldner is being held at the Beaufort County Detention Center on a $200,000 bond. Attempts Saturday to reach the Beaufort Police Department were unsuccessful.
