Ronald Reagan was more than a movie star

I must take exception to a recent letter writer's comments, comparing the presidential qualifications of Barack Obama to those of Ronald Reagan. Specifically, I disagree with the blatantly unfair comment that Ronald Reagan's qualification was his experience in B-grade movies. How ignorant to make such a statement. Ronald Reagan not only graduated from an accredited college with a degree in sociology and economics but was also, for eight years, the governor of the state of California. And further, he served his country honorably in the United States Armed Services for eight years.

He didn't simply step out of an oater and move into the White House.
