Hilton Head Christian seventh grader Daniel Azallion shot a 3-under-par 69 this past weekend to win the Boys 10-12 Division of the 17th annual SCJGA Players Championship at Hartsville Country Club in Hartsville.

Azallion, who beat Lancaster's Anthony Sutton by four strokes, was the only one of 28 golfers in the two-day event's field to break par.

Azallion, 12, qualified for the major championship as a result of his ti for sixth in the Boys 8-12 division in The Blade in July at the Thornblade Club in Greer.
