Volunteers needed for Hope Haven

Hope Haven of the Lowcountry is accepting applications for volunteers and interns to attend volunteer training in January and February.

Experts in law enforcement, counseling and medicine will provide instruction on working with sexual-assault victims.

Volunteers must attend six sessions to complete the training. Weekday sessions will be from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Jan. 27, 29, 31, Feb. 4 and 6. A final session will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 8.
