Military honors

Airman Jason J. Singleton graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio.

He completed an eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Singleton earned distinction as an honor graduate.

He is the son of Henry Singleton of Seabrook and a 2003 graduate of Battery Creek High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in 2010 from Pennsylvania State University in Reading, Pa.
