USCB campus plan may work with modifications

info@islandpacket.comNovember 13, 2013

There was a previous "best bang for the buck" plan for subdividing the Coligny Circle area, and it did not get very far.

We have the vision of our town being already established, thank you, and it is an aesthetic which is practical in scope and comprehensiveness.

Our present generation, and, future generations, could benefit from a University of South Carolina Beaufort campus plan with, hopefully, caveats for a county library annex and access to adult education resources. A campus-like atmosphere is, in fact, the best solution.

Create a central business district, with its sprawl, fender-benders, traffic lights every 500 feet and neon signs some place other than Pope Avenue.
