Two men armed with handguns robbed a Beaufort office Saturday, taking money and items from the office's employees, according to a spokeswoman for the Beaufort Police Department.

One of the two suspects approached a man smoking a cigarette outside the office on Boundary Street around 10 a.m. Saturday. The suspect grabbed the man, telling him he had a handgun and to enter the business, Cpl. Hope Able said.

The two suspects entered the office with the man in tow, taking cash and items from the employees before leaving, Able said. The man called police after the suspects left. No injuries were reported from the robbery.

An investigation into the robbery is ongoing.
