Beaufort Academy falls 46-20 at W.W. King in 8-man playoffs

Best season in Eagles history comes to end

The 2013 football season, which saw Beaufort Academy double the school record for wins with six and make its first playoff appearance, has come to an end for the Eagles.

Beaufort Academy fell 46-20 at W.W. King Academy on Friday in Batesburg-Leesville in the quarterfinals of the SCISAA 8-man quarterfinals.

Reyn Robinson had a 36-yard touchdown run and a two-point conversion reception. Ashton Guest scored for the Eagles on a 20-yard reception, while Jack Dailey had a 32-yard touchdown run.

The Eagles finish with their first winning season at 6-5.
