Interim president Gina Mounfield, the school's vice president of academic affairs, is among the three finalists, according to a release.

Mounfield has served as interim president since June 1. Thomas Leitzel resigned as president in May to become president of South Florida State College. The Technical College of the Lowcountry Area Commission will interview finalists beginning Nov. 4, the release states.

The other two finalists are Teresa E. Smith, vice president for administration and chief financial officer at Tallahassee Community College in Tallahassee, Fla., and Richard J. Gough, executive vice president of Sandhills Community College in Pinehurst, N.C.
