Three area volleyball players, including Bluffton senior and College of Charleston commitment Mackenzie Cooler, were named to the all-state volleyball teams announced this week.

Cooler, whose Bobcats kicked off their playoff run Tuesday against Goose Creek, joined teammate Jordan Franklin on the Class 4-A team. Both Bluffton standouts are repeat winners, as Franklin made the list for the second straight year while Cooler earned the honor for a third consecutive season.

Hilton Head Island High's Sierra Davis, a sophomore who led the Seahawks to the Region 8-AAA championship team, was named to the Class 3-A team.

In addition, Cooler will accompany Hilton Head High's Mallory Lewis to the North-South All-Star Games, as the two were selected to the South 4-A/3-A All-Star squad. The games will be held Nov. 21 at Erskine College.
