Beaufort church extends used-shoe drive

Praise Assembly Church in Beaufort has extended its used-shoe drive for needy people in the Dominican Republic to Nov. 10.

Shoes can be dropped off at the back door of the church at 800 Parris Island Gateway; on the porch at 2004 North St. in Beaufort; at HELP of Beaufort, 1910 Baggett St.; in a bin at Tucker Dry Cleaners in Beaufort, 1822 Boundary St.; at the Baynard Park guard station in Bluffton, 6 Bainbridge Way; and at Central Church of God on Hilton Head Island, 975 William Hilton Parkway.

Shoes of any style, size and condition will be accepted and will be delivered on the church's mission trip.
