Senior running back Matt Murray ran for four touchdowns to lead Fort Dorchester to a 62-34 rout of visiting Bluffton on Friday.

Murray scored on runs of 4, 18, 50 and 4 yards to help the Patriots improve to 6-3 overall, 2-1 in Region 8-AAAA. Bluffton is 5-4, 1-2.

"I mean we stuck 62 on a pretty good football team tonight and I think it has been awhile since somebody did that to Bluffton," Fort Dorchester coach Steve LaPrad said. "I'm proud of our guys on offense and defense."

"You have to give Bluffton credit, they didn't quit, so I'm happy with the job we did."

Bluffton had two touchdown runs from Laquan Washington. Gerald Roberson scored on an 85-yard pass play from quarterback Alex Davis. Jawara Middleton scored on a 97-yard kickoff return for Bluffton. Hayden Dwyer added a 19-yard touchdown run for the Bobcats.
