Two Beaufort County restaurants have earned a spot on OpenTable.com's list of the top 100 restaurants in the country with notable wine lists.

Two Beaufort County restaurants have some of the top wine lists in the country, according to online reviewers.

Beaufort's Griffin Market and Hilton Head Island's Red Fish were both selected as one of OpenTable.com's Top 100 Restaurants with the Most Notable Wine Lists.

OpenTable allows diners to submit restaurant reviews and make reservations online.

The awards, part of the website's 2013 Diners' Choice awards, reflect the "combined opinions of more than 5 million reviews submitted by verified OpenTable diners for more than 15,000 restaurants" across the country, according to the website.

Reviews were submitted between Oct. 1, 2012 and Sept. 20, 2013. All restaurants with a minimum overall score and a number of qualifying reviews were considered. They were then scored and sorted according to the percentage of reviews that mentioned "notable wine list" as a special feature of the restaurant.

Restaurants in 27 states made the list, including famed The French Laundry in Yountville, Calif. Four of the 100 restaurants were in South Carolina; the other two are SeaBlue Restaurant & Wine Bar in North Myrtle Beach and Hampton Street Vineyward in Columbia.

The full list can be viewed at www.opentable.com/wine.
