Haley to address Hilton Head lecture series

Gov. Nikki Haley will attend the opening of the Hilton Head Institute's inaugural ImagiNATION lectures, which begin Thursday and end Saturday.

Haley will provide a "South Carolina welcome" and is scheduled to speak at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, according to a news release.

Each day of the event will focus on specific topics, such as education, philanthropy, spirituality, technology and creativity. Keynote speakers will include former Facebook marketing head Randi Zuckerberg, sister of founder Mark Zuckerberg; author William Paul Young, who wrote the spiritual novel "The Shack"; education expert Tony Wagner; and motivational speaker and former quarterback Tom Flick.
