Hannah Rose DeZeeuw and Joshua William Ford were married at 5:30 pm May 18, 2013 at Oldfield River Club, Okatie, S.C. The bride is the daughter of Allison (Sunny) Nolde of Hilton Head Island, S.C., and Bluffton, S.C., and John (Jay) DeZeeuw of Hilton Head Island, S.C. The groom is the son of Leslie and Greg Ford of Hilton Head Island, S.C. The Rev. Andrew Walton of Capitol Hill Presbyterian Church (Washington, D.C.) officiated the ceremony.

The bride wore an alencon lace gown with a lace trimmed family heirloom veil. 

Shannon Mae Burke of Columbia, S.C., served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Monica Lynn Covitt of San Francisco, Calif.; Elizabeth Marguerite Haight of San Juan, Dominican Republic; Kellyn Louise Jackson of Ann Arbor, Mich.; Mary Elise Nowak of Washington D.C.; and Margaret Catherine Pearson of Arlington, Va.

Spencer Thomas Ford of Hilton Head Island, S.C., brother of the groom served as best man. Groomsmen included John Christopher DeZeeuw Jr., of Hilton Head Island, S.C., and Denver, Colo., brother of the bride; William Richard Clanton of Hilton Head Island, S.C., and Clemson, S.C.; Matthew Robert Costa of Charlotte, N.C.; and Kenneth Robert Freeman of Hilton Head Island, S.C.

Guest violinist was Meredith Gentry Lasater of Chapel Hill, N.C. Guest pianist was Lauren Stuligross of Hilton Head Island, S.C. Guest soloist was Monica Lynn Covitt of San Francisco, Calif. 

Hannah Rose graduated from Hilton Head High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tenn. She works in development at the National Symphony Orchestra at The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.  

Joshua graduated from Hilton Head High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree from University of South Carolina, Columbia, S.C. He works in advertising sales management for Editorial Projects in Education in Bethesda, Md.

The wedding ceremony and reception were held on the lawn and grounds throughout the River House at Oldfield Plantation, Okatie, S.C.  Following a honeymoon to Puerto Rico, the couple reside in Washington, D.C.
