A Ridgeland man is among three people still at large and accused of conspiring to traffic large amounts of methamphetamine from Mexico to South Carolina and Georgia, according to a federal indictment.

The indictment, unsealed Oct. 17, 2013, in federal court, names Eduardo Juarez Gallegos, 44, as well as 13 other defendants, according to a news release. Gallegos is wanted on a federal charge of drug trafficking conspiracy, which would carry a maximum penalty of life in prison and a fine of as much as $10,000,000.

The remaining defendants are Georgia residents. Anyone with information as to Gallegos' whereabouts may call the FBI at 706-722-3702.
