Efforts should focus on all forms of cancer

info@islandpacket.comOctober 16, 2013

Breast cancer is certainly a plague on humankind. It is, however, not the only cancer that we have to deal with. My mother died of melanoma at age 49.

Why all the emphasis on only this one form of cancer? Can't we all join together to fight all forms of cancer?

I have worn pink to support the cause, but a candle is lit regularly for my mom. I am certainly not protesting against what is being done, but why can't we all support research to conquer all forms of cancer?
