The Beaufort Academy girls swim team finished second in Class 1-A/2-A at the 2013 SCISAA State Swim Meet on Saturday at the Augusta Aquatics Center in Augusta, Ga.

This is the first top-three finish since 2009 for the Eagles, who finished with 158 points, behind Spartanburg Day (250) and ahead of Palmetto Christian (153). Second and third places weren't determined until the final event.

The Eagles boys finished fourth, a strong finish after losing seven swimmers from last year's state runner-up team.
