Mosquito control could spray this week

info@islandpacket.comOctober 12, 2013

Beaufort County mosquito control could conduct aerial training, surveillance or spray for mosquitoes during the day Monday through Friday.

The county uses low-flying planes to spray EPA-registered insecticides and only sprays when weather is ideal.

The county does not spray over salt marshes for mosquitoes.
