Beaufort man arrested, accused of ramming another car

A 23-year-old Beaufort man was arrested Thursday after he allegedly used his car to ram another vehicle that was carrying two people.

Daron Aki Fripp was charged with criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature, and assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, according to the Beaufort Police Department. No injuries were reported in the incident, which took place at the intersection of Lafayette Street and Pigeon Point Road, according to police.

Fripp's bail was set at $30,000, and he remained in the Beaufort County Detention Center on Friday afternoon, according to the jail log.
