Hate Obama if you must, but don't derail good law

info@islandpacket.comOctober 10, 2013

According to a CBS News poll released Oct. 4, only 27 percent of Americans approve of shutting down the federal government over Obamacare, while 72 percent disapprove.

Many people oppose the Affordable Care Act because it was signed into law by President Barack Obama, but when they are told what the law actually does, they are broadly in favor of it.

To the 27 percent: We hear you, loud and clear. You hate the president, hate Obamacare, hate taxes and government. You might be louder and meaner, but you are outnumbered by the moderate majority who helped re-elect Obama, affirming the need for health care reform.

Now, the good news: Obama Derangement Syndrome is covered under the Affordable C1are Act as a pre-existing condition.
