Parishioners and and students brought their live pets and stuffed animals to receive a blessing on Wednesday at St. Gregory the Great Catholic School during the Blessing of the Animals. The event, held on the back lawn of the school in Bluffton, honors St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals.
