Hilton Head Island beats Stall 35-14 in region opener, moves to 6-0

There was no letdown after the big win.

Hilton Head Island High followed up it's emotional 33-32 win over Bluffton in the Bridge Bowl with a 35-14 road region win over Stall on Friday to move to 6-0 for the first time since 1987.

Khalil Lewis led the Seahawks with 121 yards rushing and two touchdowns on just 10 carries. Louisville commit Poona Ford added two scoring runs on three carries.

Hilton Head's fifth touchdown came on a 22-yard touchdown pass from Ben Oliff to Aaron Frazier, who finished with 118 yards on nine catches.

Stall (1-5) had more than 300 yards and two touchdowns through the air against the Seahawks' defense.

Ten different players rushed the ball for the Seahawks, who led 21-0 at the half. They host James Island at 7:30 p.m. Friday for homecoming.
