Survey launches to gauge support for island arts

Hilton Head Island residents are being asked to take an online survey to gauge support for arts programs and determine how they should be funded.

The town hired the Cultural Planning Group of Philadelphia to study a possible collaboration among local performing and cultural arts organizations to make its operations more efficient and identify funding sources.

The consultants began conducting a Web-based public opinion poll Thursday to help town officials gauge community support.

Residents can participate in the survey at keysurvey.com/f/547624/142e.

A link to the survey also is available on the town's website at www.hiltonheadislandsc.gov. Residents can participate in the survey throughout October.
