CROSS COUNTRY

Hilton Head Prep Invitational: Hilton Head Prep swept its own event on Wednesday. The Dolphins boys scored 26 to beat Hilton Head Island High, which had 43, while the Hilton Head Prep girls scored 19 to best Hilton Head Christian Academy, which had 54.

Next up for Hilton Head Prep is the Beaufort County Championships on Wednesday at Honey Horn Plantation.

GIRLS GOLF

Hilton Head Christian Academy 197, Wilson Hall 217: Anna Lesemann Eddy had the low round of the day, firing a 36 to win medalist honors and lead the Eagles to victory Wednesday at Santee National Golf Club in Santee.

Other scores for Hilton Head Christian: Jamie Hubbard 45, Daria Fulton 56, Bethany Bunce 60 and Molly Lucci 61.

The Eagles host Pinewood Prep on Tuesday at Crescent Point in Bluffton.

VOLLEYBALL

Bluffton 2, Savannah Country Day 0; Bluffton 2, Hilton Head Island High 0: The Bobcats notched a pair of wins, sweeping Savannah Country Day (25-22, 25-12) and Hilton Head Island High (25-13, 25-16) in a tri-match in Savannah.

Bluffton (20-7) is back in action at 5 p.m. Thursday at Beaufort High School in a Region 8-AAAA tri-match with Beaufort and Summerville.
