The following reports were released Tuesday by the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office and Bluffton Police Department:

THEFT

  • Sugar Maple Street, Bluffton Park: Vehicle scratched. Damage: $1,200.

  • Simmonsville Road, ValleyCrest Landscape Maintenance: Landscaping equipment worth $10,576 stolen.

  • Hearth Street, Palmetto Bluff: Tools worth $1,100 stolen.

  • East Avenue, The Townes at Buckwalter: Handbag, radio equipment, speakers worth $995 stolen.

  • Fairfax Street: 0.9 mm semiautomatic Smith & Wesson handgun, gold necklace worth $950 stolen.
  • HILTON HEAD ISLAND

    THEFT

  • Grasslawn Avenue: Westin Resort and Spa: HP laptop worth $1,000 stolen.

  • Burkes Beach Road: Two blue and yellow bikes worth $300 stolen.
