An exhibition of painted sculptures this week will help raise money for abandoned dogs and cats.

Sealed bids on the sculptures can be made at Picture This Gallery, 78-D Arrow Road, Hilton Head Island, through Thursday.

The grand finale will be Friday, with the Artisans Fur Animals fundraiser from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Hilton Head Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram showroom at the New River Auto Mall in Hardeeville. Advance tickets can be purchased for $20 at palmettoanimalleague.org/artisans or for $25 at the door.

Proceeds will benefit the Palmetto Animal League, which has an animal shelter at Riverwalk Business Park in Okatie.

The Friday event will also include a silent auction of handmade jewelry, original photographs, hand-crafted doll clothes and paintings. There will also be free coin, gold, silver and jewelry evaluations.
