Blindly going to war too costly for nation

Those who mismanaged, with horrible debt, are now the poor.

During the 20th century the U.S. was the greatest creditor nation. Now it is the largest debtor nation, saddled with debt that can never be paid except with counterfeit replicas. This, all because of increasing obsession with war and religiously trying to mind other people's business.

Before this once-rich nation destroys itself, I offer a suggestion. Publications and citizens should promote and display prominently, the following:

"True patriotism requires bold dissent when acts of aggression and war are ordered -- with the vast, unwinnable costs that violence imposes on all. Evil are those who commit the carnage, and blindly wave the flag against peace and justice."
